I often think of my time at the monastery with you, the other Sisters, the Koinonia, and the whole CBL community. I wish Maine and Idaho weren't so far apart, so we could visit each other. Please pass my greetings along to everyone!

How nice that'd be if Maine and Idaho were closer! I'll be happy to send your greetings along.

Thank you, Wendy, for this wonderful article. I especially like the quote from Thoreau about the snowflake.

The mindfulness walk we did at the Monastery was very meaningful and I’m reminded of what you shared as I walk through our woods.

Many blessings!

The quotation comes from Thoreau's journal entry on January 5, 1856; it's a favorite of mine. I'm very glad our walk up Monastery Hill was meaningful to you. I'd love to guide you on a walk through the Maine Woods!
