It’s a lot of detail which for me is overwhelming and “too” much but it’s basically individual stories within the book context and I suspect you’ll be able to totally grasp the detail!
Your winter at your cabin has been a refreshing renewal of your passion for Maine woods and your lake / pond. You enjoyed your winters in ID, but your writing is so much more interesting to read. What a joyful experience for you each season. 😊
Joyce, it's been a blessing for me to spend another winter in my cabin. My time at the monastery in Idaho was fulfilling on multiple levels. During my two winters there, I learned and grew and made many wonderful friendships. But I've come to understand that the Maine Woods are where my spirit feels most at home.
With your earth and environmental connection you would probably enjoy reading “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer!
Thanks for the suggestion, Anita! I've heard it's wonderful. I'm thinking I should put it at the top of my "to-read" list.

Thanks for the mini-review, Anita.
